Leader...

I've been serving in the youth ministry of my church for 8 years now. People have come in and out, but one thing hasn't changed is the enormous blessings that God has placed on our ministry in the lives of our students and the church itself. It is awesome to be serving with people in the grace that God gives over and over again as we as humans are not perfect at all. But the desire to grow and fellowship in lives of other youth workers make it worth while. Picture of the summer leadership of 2011.

IHOP & Oklahoma Joes

I had the opportunity to go to Kansas City this past week. Great place to visit as they have places like International House of Prayer (IHOP), a 24/7/365 prayer/worship place, such a great place and Oklahoma Joes, GREAT RIB JOINT!

we must keep on going....

as i was editing this picture, i began to think about the weariness of our life as christians. it sounds so repetitive, but we must keep on going. this fight, this race, this journey takes a toll on you and its about the sheer will to see God glorified in all that we do. i'm reminded by the movie "The Last Samurai", when Nathan Algren is being destroyed by Ujio during a wooden sword game, Nathan keeps on getting up over and over again after Ujio hits him harder and harder every time he gets up. that attitude of getting up and not giving up is the mentality i must have but lack many times.
